Need an easy guide? Simply follow the steps outlined below!
Step-by-Step Guide:
Select Your Videos:
Choose videos at least 15 seconds long to showcase the location.
Include up to three one-minute videos highlighting different aspects (e.g., parking, trail markers, views).
Edit videos outside the app to add music or voiceovers if desired.
Select a Cover Photo:
You can select a cover photo from any of your videos, but remember that the last video/image selected becomes the cover photo for your post.
Add a Title:
Include the name of the location and city/state (e.g., "Swami’s Meditative Gardens, Encinitas, CA").
Choose Activities:
Select up to four activities that represent your experience (e.g., hiking, snorkeling).
Set the Location:
Ensure the exact location is specified for easy discovery.
Manually enter the address if not automatically populated. (note: if the video is edited outside of the app, the location will not automatically populate so be sure to enter the location to the best of your ability. If one of your videos is the original/non-edited footage, or only shortened within the native Photos app, then the location may still be filled automatically).
Rate the Difficulty:
Indicate the experience's difficulty level.
Include notes about suitability for children or beginners in the description.
Write a Description:
Share your story and insights.
Highlight what you loved, challenges faced, and tips for future visitors.
Mention any seasonal considerations or unique features.
Use hashtags and tag other users if appropriate.
Add Additional Info:
Select relevant tags (e.g., "dog-friendly," "stroller accessible") to help users filter posts.
Share Insider Tips:
Add links to useful websites or nearby attractions.
Provide a brief description for each link.
Recommend Gear/Guides:
Suggest gear, local guides, or accommodations that enhanced your experience.
